TRNSMT boss Geoff Ellis has hailed the 'incredible' feeling of welcoming the festival back after a two-year hiatus. The DF concerts supremo said there is a "buzz of energy across the whole of Glasgow city centre" after the long-awaited return.
Ellis, festival director of TRNSMT, tonight admitted he was thrilled to get the gates of Glasgow Green open and give music fans what they've been wanting.
He said: "It’s absolutely incredible to be back. So much work has gone into making this weekend happen and it was a pretty amazing moment when we opened the gates earlier today."The festival means so much to people and it really reminds you how much we’ve all missed live music.
