Tristan Thompson has had a setback in his ongoing paternity case with Maralee Nichols, the Texas woman who says he fathered her baby son, as a judge dismissed his attempt to have the case conducted in Houston, as the case will now likely be heard in California.The 30-year-old NBA player and Nichols, a 31-year-old fitness professional, participated in a virtual hearing on Wednesday, US Weekly reported, as Nichols had filed a suit against Thompson in California this past June, while Thompson filed a suit in Texas against Nichols the following month.An insider told the publication, 'Regardless of whether any act of conception occurred in Texas that could have led to the conception of the child, they [allegedly] had a lengthy relationship.
