Friends and family of Chorlton legend John Daly have paid heartfelt tribute to him following his death. John Daly, who died aged 55, has been described as a 'well known' and 'much loved' community figure in Chorlton and Stretford.

In the 1980s, he worked as a driver and roadie for many bands before starting to organise gigs and events - and even his own resort festival in Bulgaria.
