Tributes paid to Scots motorcyclist with 'infectious smile' after horror crash on country road

Tributes have been paid to a motorcyclist with an "infectious smile" who died following a horror crash on a country road in Moray.

Steven Smith, 26, passed away following the incident on the B9014 near the junction with the B9115 at Drummuir, near Keith, at around 6.35am on Monday, January 27.

Emergency services raced to the crash, which involved a black and white Honda CBR 125 motorcycle, but Steven was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

Loved ones have been left devastated following the news and tributes have since flooded in. His friend Erin Patterson, who has launched a fundraiser to support the family with funeral costs, says he was "the kind of person who would light up a room just by being him".Writing on the GoFundMe page, Erin said: "Steven, known by his friends as Stevo or Ste, was so full of live and had the most infectious smile and laugh.
