Boy, 13, who died after horrific crash near M62 named as tributes flood in

A 13-year-old boy who tragically died following a horrific car crash near the M62 has been named locally as Harrison Reynolds.

The youngster died days after the collision, reported on February 4, on Oldham Road between Saddleworth and Rishworth. West Yorkshire Police said six teenagers had been travelling inside a black Vauxhall Corsa which left the A672 Oldham Road, shortly before 1am.

Officers closed off the road near junction 22 of the M62. Harrison was rushed to hospital from the scene. His life support machine was later switched off on February 16 and he later passed away, a statement issued on a GoFundMe said.

Harrison, thought to have been from the Yorkshire area, was remembered in heartfelt tributes on social media following his death.
