He started out as a member of N.A.S.T.Y. Crew, and then his tracks were released by labels such as Hyperdub, Planet Mu and his own Hardrive Records.He was credited as being one of the main drivers of the R&G (rhythm and grime) movement, which combined elements of grime with R&B.
