Tribute paid to Linwood motorcyclist who died in motorway crash

A man from Linwood has been named as the tragic casualty in a motorbike crash that took his life. James Martin, 45, died after being involved in a crash while on his Harley Davidson motorcycle on the M74 near Abington on Friday, September 27.James’ family have asked for privacy while they grieve their devastating loss.

The car driver was not injured.Police Scotland sergeant Andrew Coutts said: “Our thoughts remain with the family and friends of Mr Martin.
