Travis Scott stopped a performance on Monday evening to make sure fans were safe, which follows the Astroworld tragedy in which saw 10 people killed and many more harmed. The deadly crowd surge during Scott’s set back in November supposedly saw more than 4,900 people injured, as claimed by a class action court filing, 732 of which were ‘severely’ injured and required extensive medical treatment. After the incident, Scott shared a statement in which he expressed his ‘devastation’ over the turn of events, claiming he did not know that people were hurt.Following mass outrage after he continued performing while the fatal events occurred, he kept a low profile and only recently returned to the stage. While performing in New York earlier this week, the US rapper told members of the audience who were climbing on a metal truss near the stage to ‘get down’ several times. In video footage shared online of a performance at the Coney Art Walls in Coney Island, the rapper is seen performing alongside Meek Mills. This nigga @KEVTHESPIDEYVAMP a fucking different breed bruh.
