Dayle Haddon, a model and actress who once shared the screen with Nick Nolte, has tragically passed away at 76.The star's death was reportedly due to suspected carbon monoxide poisoning, according to NBC10 in Philadelphia. The emergency services in Bucks County received a call early in the morning after a man was found unconscious in a detached suite in Solebury Township, Pennsylvania.
First responders also found an unresponsive woman, later identified as Haddon, in a second-floor bedroom. While the unidentified man was rushed to hospital, attempts to revive Dayle were unsuccessful and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police suspect that a faulty boiler may have caused the deadly carbon monoxide levels. Detective Sergeant Jonathan Koretzky of the Solebury Township Police Department stated: “It is believed a heating unit, a boiler unit, is the source of the carbon monoxide. The initial readings on EMS and fire company arrival were extremely high, so we're treating this as a carbon monoxide poisoning incident.” The main house on the property was reportedly unaffected by the alleged gas leak.
However, the home remained hazardous, with two paramedics taken to hospital for carbon monoxide exposure and a police officer treated at the scene. The circumstances surrounding Dayle's death are still under investigation by the police.
