Tragic Scots tot Robyn Knox to be given 'send off she deserves' as devastated locals raise £13k for funeral

hit by a car has raised more than £13,000 to give her 'the send off she deserves'. Robyn Knox, 3, was seriously injured after being hit by the Nissan Micra in Townhill, near Dunfermline, on Monday morning.

Horrified passersby helped performed first aid on the stricken youngster before she was rushed to the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy by ambulance.

But the Kircaldy youngster died a short time later. To help pay for her funeral, uncle Paul Marshall set up a JustGiving page pledging to walk the West Highland Way in a bid to raise £5,000.

But generous well-wishers have dug deep and brought in £13,337.A post from uncle Paul reads: "On Thursday, August 13 I will be walking the West Highland Way in four days."This will be in memory of my niece.
