A 'selfless and caring' mum-of-five's life began to spiral after an alleged attacker was found not guilty of assaulting her, an inquest has heard.
Toni Paine hit a 'turning point' following the incident and began to drink regularly, her sister Jodie said. The 44-year-old was found at home in February this year after a man called 999 before 'making off' from the scene, according to police.
Her family had become aware of a man known as 'crackhead Chris' who had become involved in her life before her death., Yorkshire Live reports.
Miss Paine died following a fatal dose of heroin, according to her post-mortem.
