A woman and little girl were tragically found dead in a house in Salford on Monday morning (September 23). Emergency services responded to a concern for welfare call at house on South Radford Street at around 10.30am.
Emergency services raced to to the scene before they tragically found a woman, aged 40, and the little girl, aged eight, dead inside the property.
Police, paramedics and fire crews taped off the residential street after the discovery. A cordon remained in place throughout Monday amid investigations into their deaths.
All known next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers, police said.
