A beloved mum has sadly died of breast cancer after she discovered a lump under her arm just months earlier. Hannah Whittall bravely shielded the truth of her diagnosis from her 11-year-old twin daughters, Isabelle and Emmy, as they had endured the loss of their father the year before.

The mum from Tamworth, Staffordshire, received several months of chemotherapy and underwent a double mastectomy in August 2024, including full lymph node removal.

A month later, she was given the all-clear. However, the cancer re-emerged within a month, having metastasized to her bones.

December saw Hannah hospitalised due to fluid accumulation in her lungs and pneumonia, yet she was determined to spend one last Christmas at home with her girls.
