A person was found dead early today after emergency services were called to reports of a casualty on railway tracks, police have revealed.
No sex or age of the person has been released by British Transport Police. The tragedy led to warnings of possible delays and cancellations to trains in Greater Manchester during Tuesday morning's busy rush-hour.
