Tragedy as boy, 13, dies following horror crash near M62

manchestereveningnews.co.ukA teenager who was injured in a devastating crash near to the M62 has tragically died from his injuries. Police say six teenagers had been travelling inside a black Vauxhall Corsa which left the A672 Oldham Road, between Rishworth and Saddleworth.
Emergency services responded to the crash shortly before 1am on Tuesday, February 4. Officers closed off the road near junction 22 of the M62.
A 13-year-old boy was rushed to hospital in a critical condition. Sadly, he has since died, West Yorkshire Police confirmed today (February 17).
The five other teenagers who were inside the car were arrested in connection with the crash. They have since been released on bail, West Yorkshire Police says.
