However, Olusanya played a key role as last season progressed — scoring seven goals as the Buddies finished fifth in the Premiership and qualified for the UEFA Conference League.
Saturday’s goal in the 2-2 draw with Dundee at Dens Park was his fourth already of this campaign as the in-form Londoner continues to improve.
Olusanya is now one of the leading figures in the squad given his experience and the fact that he has grown in his time on Greenhill Road.
