The Only Way Is Essex star Tommy Mallet has revealed how his two-year-old son Brody was struck down by a 'horrible' illness during their sun-soaked family holiday.Tommy, who owns a fashion label, has opened up about the traumatic few days the family experienced after their toddler suffered from a huge outbreak of dermatitis.

But Tommy, who previously starred on reality TV series TOWIE with his now-fiancé Georgia Kousoulou, 32, later told his 1.1million followers that his toddler was thankfully 'on the mend.' He took to Instagram to update his fans on Brody's health and posted a series of sweet snaps of his little boy.

Sharing three snaps of adorable Brody wearing funky orange sunglasses in a souvenir shop, Tommy, 31, announced the news. He wrote: "Horrible few days for little man, He had a bad throat that then lead to him having a huge outbreak over he’s skin, they said he has dermatitis and given him cream & he’s on the mend." Brody held onto his cuddly lion teddy and dinosaur toy for the photos while his struggles with dermatitis could be seen on his arms with a visible red patch.

But the toddler still looked happy and in good spirits as he posed up a storm for the camera. Just days later, proud dad Tommy returned to Instagram to update his fans on Brody's situation.
