Former The Only Way is Essex star Elliott Wright has been left "heartbroken" after a doorman at his Marbella restaurant was killed as he tried to break up a fight.

Dad-of-four Elliott, 43, who appeared on TOWIE between 2010 and 2017 and is the cousin of Mark Wright, has made the decision to close his restaurant Olivia's La Cala in Marbella temporarily as an investigation into the incident gets underway.The Sun reports that bouncer Jose Rafael Pisano Pardo, 55, was seriously injured after hitting his head as he tried to stop an argument between customers that started during the night.

He is said to have been rushed to intensive care after falling unconscious but sadly died on Sunday as he succumbed to his injuries.

On Monday, the restaurant posted a statement on Instagram, which said that the restaurant would be closed temporarily and that staff were "heartbroken".
