TOWIE's Clelia Theodorou has opened up about the devastating car crash that claimed her mum's life and left her with severe injuries.The star, 29, took to Instagram to share her heartbreak, revealing she still finds it hard to discuss the tragic incident that occurred in 2023.
During a candid Q&A session, Clelia was asked if she would ever open up about the accident. She responded: "I'm not sure.
I find it very hard to talk about. Maybe in the future I will but it's still really raw." Since the incident, Clelia has been updating her Instagram followers on her road to recovery, including how she's been managing as a new mother.
She also confessed that she doesn't see herself driving again anytime soon due to her post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) diagnosis following the crash.The crash happened at the end of May 2023 and the former TOWIE favourite announced on her Instagram on July 31 the heart-breaking news that her mum had passed away. "I haven't been driving and don't see myself driving for a very long time, if ever," she admitted. "It was really difficult getting into a car again after it happened just as a passenger." Clelia added that her physical injuries also play a part in her decision, saying: "I would need to be fully confident with my feet etc.The first time I was in a vehicle after was horrific." "So that made it easier as there was only one small window to see out of but I couldn't look.
