TOWIE's Arg 'finally feels confident in the bedroom' after surgery to remove excess skin

TOWIE star James 'Arg' Argent has opened up about his newfound body-positivity after undergoing excess skin removal surgery.

Following his much-publicised split from Gemma Collins, the 35 year old ballooned up to 27 stone alongside the development of drug and alcohol dependencies.

He eventually managed to shed 13 stone via a gastric sleeve procedure, but Arg was then forced to live with folds of leftover skin that chipped away at his self-esteem.

Chatting to The Daily Mail, the reality TV personality (who's now in a relationship with Italian beauty Stella Turian) admitted that he'd walk around in XXXL-sized swimming shorts pulled up to his belly button in order to hide this skin, but a subsequent tummy tuck has given him a new lease of life. "I went from 27 stone to 14 stone, so I lost 13 stone… I hit my target weight but if I wanted to wear a tight-fitting top, I would feel conscious because of my excess skin around my tummy and sides," Arg said. "I knew that with skin there was nothing I could do with diet or exercise.
