Ange Postecoglou admitted he's had no assurances on Harry Kane's future but wants the striker to stay at Tottenham Hotspur. Kane has been linked with an exit from Spurs with one year left on his contract.
Bayern Munich have seen two bids knocked back for him whilst Manchester United were also interested. Erik ten Hag made Kane his top target this summer but United effectively walked away from a deal after Daniel Levy made it clear he wouldn't sell Kane.
The two clubs have a chequered past and United didn't want to deal with Levy, who is renowned for being an awkward negotiator.
Speaking at his unveiling as Tottenham's new boss, Postecoglou admitted he is planning talks with Kane but is none the wiser about what his future will hold.
