Tottenham's medical team has reportedly confirmed that Gareth Bale will be sidelined for at least a month with an injury. Bale flew into London on Friday alongside Real Madrid team-mate Sergio Reguilon - who is also signing for Spurs - to finalise his £20million loan deal.

The forward has been carrying a knee injury in recent weeks, but has been working in a gym at Valdebebas, and little information has been made available on the Welshman's condition.

But now, according to Spanish publication Marca, the Spurs medical team has had a look at the 31-year-old's injury and determined he will be out for as many as four weeks.
