Top Gun: Maverick, the continuation of the 1986 romance-action flick Top Gun, has joined other upcoming blockbusters in having its release date pushed back.
The long-awaited sequel, which comes 34 years after the original by the late Tony Scott, was set to be originally released on 24 June.
The film’s leading star, Tom Cruise, also recently put out a tweet about the new release date to disappointed fans. I know many of you have waited 34 years.
