mirror.co.ukTop Gear presenter Paddy McGuinness, 46, was involved in a horror accident after crashing a £250,000 Lamborghini that had failed its MOT just weeks before.
The crash happened during filming for new series of the show, amid reports that the car's owner was required to replace the windscreen wipers when it went for its MOT on May 1.
The vehicle safety test also found further issues with the drive shaft joints, before the car passed a re-test just three days later, the Daily Star reports.
But an advisory was issued about one of the red 1991 collectors item's back tyres and even though advisories aren't legally required to be dwelt with immediately, the DVLA warns owners to keep a close eye on them in case of emergencies.
