Brits followed several celebrity trends when it came to naming their children over the past year, with the UK's Office for National Statistics (ONS) dropping its yearly stats for the most favoured baby names in England and Wales.
Bodhi - which is Chloe Madeley and James Haskell's child's name - made one of the lists and there were babies born in Britain called Saint and Reign - both Kardashian kids - and an appearance from Neveah, which is Heaven spelt backwards and one of the names chosen by Jamie Lomas and his fiancee Jess Bell when their daughter was born this summer.
The data always gives us a glimpse into the previous year, so this list reveals the top 100 names for boys and girls from 2023.This year, Muhammad has leapfrogged Noah to claim the top spot for baby boys, with Noah slipping to second place after ruling in 2021 and 2022, followed by Oliver.There was less of a shake-up in the top three names for baby girls, with Olivia, Amelia and Isla holding their ground.
As expected, Olivia has clinched the title of the most popular baby girl's name for the eighth consecutive year. Regionally, Olivia was the favourite girl's name in five out of nine regions in England and also topped the charts in Wales.
