Singer Tony Hadley has helped a Singaporean quizzer win $10,000 (£5,800) after a controversial decision over whether he had said his name right as an answer.
Muhammad Shalehan had entered a radio station quiz but was denied the $10,000 prize when it was deemed he hadn’t pronounced ‘Tony Hadley’ correctly in the Celebrity Name Drop game.
Despite getting the answer correct, radio station Gold 905 maintained that he hadn’t pronounced the Spandau Ballet singer’s name correctly and therefore lost one point which made him miss out on the prize.
