Actor and stuntman Tommy Lane died Monday at the age of 83 in Florida after battling chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).Lane's daughter Kamala confirmed her father's passing at Florida Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale to Variety Tuesday.The Miami native was best known for playing hitman Leroy in the 1971 film Shaft, who John Shaft (played by Richard Roundtree) tossed through the window of his Times Square office.
