The news comes roughly two weeks after the series premiered on Oct. 10. The first season consisted of eight episodes. Hayley Atwell provides the voice of Lara Croft.
The show received mostly positive reviews from critics upon its release, with Season 1 holding a 73% critical approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
The official logline for Season 2 states: “When adventurer Lara Croft (Atwell) discovers a trail of stolen African Orisha masks, she joins forces with her best friend Sam (Karen Fukuhara) to retrieve the precious artifacts.
