‘Squid Game’ Season 2 Trailer: Player 456 Returns to Bloody Battleground as New Players Fight for Grand Prize
variety.comJoe Otterson TV Reporter Netflix has dropped a new teaser trailer for “Squid Game” Season 2. The trailer was revealed at the European comic-con Lucca Comics & Games.
Series stars Lee Jung-jae and Wi Ha-jun appeared onstage, as did series creator Hwang Dong-hyuk. In the trailer, Seong Gi-hun, a.k.a Player 456 (Lee), has reentered the Squid Game after winning at the conclusion of Season 1.
Now armed with the knowledge of what the game is really about, he seeks to save the lives of other players while trying to convince them to opt out and end the game once and for all.
The full trailer can be seen below. Season 2 of “Squid Game” will drop on Netflix on Dec. 26. Along with Lee and Wi, Lee Byung-hun also returns as the mysterious Front Man in charge of running the game.
