Liverpool chairman Tom Werner has been texting boss Jurgen Klopp as fans have been requesting a lifetime contract for the boss.The Reds’ first ever Premier League title was confirmed on Thursday as Manchester City lost 2-1 to Chelsea.It is the first top-flight title the Anfield side has won for 30 years, coming a season after Klopp secured the Champions League.Fans have been quick to demand a lifetime contract for the German amid his success – and the club’s chairman has been sending some messages to the boss on the subject.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Werner said: ”I have texted Jurgen and Michael (Edwards) and while these conversations are private, the gist of them is that I am forever grateful for this historic run.
