Sir Tom Jones has opened up about the passing of his wife Melinda Rose Woodward saying he felt guilty following her death in 2016.The Welsh singer said he wishes he had intervened and made his late wife seek earlier treatment for what was later diagnosed as terminal lung cancer.Following her “short but fierce” fight with cancer, Melinda - known as Lady Linda - died in April 2016.Speaking to the Mirror Sir Tom revealed that one of lady Linda’s favourite songs plagued him following her death.Jones said the lyrics specifically led him to question whether he had done enough for her within in their marriage.One particular section reads: “What good am I, if I'm like all the rest?
