Thousands of Tom Holland fans hoping to witness the actor’s West End return might be wondering where for art all the tickets went.
The Spider-Man actor’s limited engagement in Jamie Lloyd‘s Romeo & Juliet sold out two hours after going on sale this morning.
General sale tickets went up for grabs at midday today, selling out by 2 p.m. London time, according to local reports. Pre-sale started at 8 a.m.
with an estimated 60,000 people joining a virtual ticket-buying queue. “Getting tickets to Tom Holland’s Romeo & Juliet is starting to feel like eras tour trauma,” wrote one X/Twitter user as quoted in the London Evening Standard, referring to the fast-selling Taylor Swift tour.
