Tom Hiddleston and Mark Hamill are gearing up to star in a new adaptation of a Stephen King short story.
The 42-year-old Marvel Cinematic Universe actor and 71-year-old Star Wars icon will star opposite each other in The Life of Chuck.
The short story is a recent one of Stephen‘s and was published in 2020′s If It Bleeds, The Life of Chuck. Read more about Mark Hamill and Tom Hiddleston’s new roles… According to Deadline, the movie’s script has been in the works for long enough that it won’t be held up by the current writers strike in Hollywood.
It will reportedly draw comparisons to the likes of previous Stephen King adaptations Stand By Me, The Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile. Tom is set to star in the project as Chuck, and Mark will play a character named Albie.
