The race was red flagged on the first lap after a collision caused Zhou's Alfa Romeo to be flipped upside down before flying across the track and crashing into the trackside barriers.Footage of the incident captured by spectators has shown that the 23-year-old's car almost flew into the crowd after it was flung off the track.Data collected by Top10 Casinos has now revealed only one F1 driver earns less per year than Zhou, who is competing in his first season in F1.The figures show the salaries of all 20 F1 drivers, with Zhou tied 16th overall with Mick Schumacher and Nicolas Latifi on £821,177 per year, which equates to £37,326 per race, £718 per lap and £196 per mile driven.

It showed Russell making a poor start before seemingly being touch at the rear.That sent him into the path of Zhou, who touched the wheels of the Mercedes and flipped over, sliding across the gravel trap upside down at high speed.Just before it reached the tyre barrier, the car dug in, flipped up over the barriers and smashed into the safety fencing just metres from fans in a stand, prompting marshals to dive for cover.Assessing the incident on Sky Sports, 2009 world champion Jenson Button said: “It’s one of those where it’s gone wrong up until the point where he’s okay.“It’s dug in and flicked off the first line of tyres, gone up in the air and into the catch fencing.
