A three-year-old girl has been rushed to hospital after a car crashed into a set of traffic lights in Glasgow. Emergency services raced to the scene on the city's Shettleston Road at around 10.40am on Sunday, June 19.Images shared online show police officers attending the scene across from Eastbank Academy in the Shettleston area.A traffic light can also be seen bent backwards from the impact of the car driving into it at the location over the weekend.

A three-year-old girl has been taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment along with another passenger. The 31-year-old male driver of the car has since been charged in connection with the incident.A report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
