GHAIYYATH fully deserves his status as a hot favourite for the Group 1 Juddmonte International (3.15) as York’s Welcome To Yorkshire Ebor Festival opens in a blaze of glory.

The five-year-old, a 14-length victor at the top level in Germany last September, has improved again for trainer Charlie Appleby in 2020, opening his European campaign by breaking the track record in the Coronation Cup at Newmarket in June.
