Growing up in the 70s, Langford starred in hit musical Bugsy Malone, as well as TV series Just William. The Doctor Who actress was married to Paul Grunert for 20 years, and they share a child together, Biana, who is now in her early twenties, reported MyLondon.

During the divorce proceedings, Langford cited "unreasonable behaviour" in papers filed at a court in London. Speaking about the divorce, a friend of Bonnie said: “She is getting over the pain in the best way possible by taking on a new challenge in her life", referring to a TV role which she took on at the time.
