Talented Paisley dancer has eyes set on The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo

A talented Paisley dancer is taking part in The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo and says she is "truly excited" about being involved in the global event.The famous gathering starts on Friday, August 5 and runs to Saturday, August 27.And Tia Corrigan, 19 - who has been dancing since she was only two years old - will be in the thick of it.Tia said: "I’m delighted to have been chosen as an Edinburgh tattoo dancer for this wonderful event, which people from all over the world attended."My love of dance so far has given me so many opportunities to entertain people from all over the globe and I’m truly excited to be taking part."She is part of the fourth generation in her family to love the power and gracefulness of dancing.Her mum Lyndsay said: “My gran danced and while my granddad was in the war she slept in underground during the blitz. She did tap, ballet, jazz, modern and freestyle. So, she did a lot.“Then I started dancing and that is how my daughter got into it.”Tia attended the McKechnie School of Dance and Performing Arts, in Grangemouth, until the age of 11 and she also attended the Dance School in Knightswood, where she trained from first year to sixth year after a successful audition.Tia is now training at the prestigious Bird College for Dance and Musical Theatre, in London,
