Edinburgh Zoo snapped the pics of the adorable eight-week-old endangered kit ahead of its first health checks. The little ball of fur, which was born to mum Ginger and dad Bruce on July 10, is set to be checked over by the wildlife conservation charity’s teams in the coming weeks before being named shortly after.The team says that the cute kit will remain in the cubbing den until it grows more independent from its mother.It is hoped visitors will start to spot the youngster over the coming months as it begins to explore the outdoor enclosure, which was funded by players of People’s Postcode Lottery.Sean is the Tourism and Food and Drink content writer for the Daily Record - with a focus on Scotland Now.
