Could Timothee Chalamet be preparing a run on Broadway soon? The 27-year-old Oscar-nominated actor has sparked rumors that he could be heading to the stage thanks to a new post on his Instagram Stories. Timothee shared a photo from inside an office building on Monday (July 3) and tagged the account @mtc_nyc. Keep reading to find out more… The account is for Manhattan Theatre Club, one of the leading non-profit theatre organizations in New York City. Timothee previously starred in the off-Broadway production of Prodigal Son for Manhattan Theatre Club back in 2016.
Could he be reuniting with the group for the 2023-24 season?! MTC will be bringing the play Prayer for the French Republic to Broadway in December 2023.
Here’s a synopsis: “In 1944, a Jewish couple in Paris desperately awaits news of their missing family. More than 70 years later, the couple’s great-grandchildren find themselves facing the same question as their ancestors: ‘Are we safe?’” We can’t wait to find out why Timothee was visiting the office!
