Timothee Chalamet's latest film project has been unveiled, and it's all about the world of ping pong.The Dune and Wonka actor's fans have been on tenterhooks for news about this project ever since he hinted at a table tennis-themed film in an old interview clip that recently resurfaced.

Now, we've got more juicy details.The upcoming movie, titled Marty Supreme, is said to be inspired by the life of professional ping pong player Marty Reisman, according to Variety, even though it's being marketed as a fictional tale.

Reisman was hailed as a 'wizard of table tennis', bagging 22 major ping pong titles from 1946 to 2002 with a forehand shot that could reportedly hit speeds of 115 mph.

He first discovered his knack for the sport at just 11 years old at a local community centre and started betting on his games until he was able to support himself financially by the tender age of 14.
