Sam Lansky is lingering in the fiction world and staying close to his friends at Harlequin/HarperCollins imprint Hanover Square Press.
The Time West Coast editor has struck a deal with the publisher for a sophomore novel, Close Friends, which tells the story of Walker Stevenson and his three best female friends as their lives are upended during senior year of high school by a shocking moment of violence.It is due out in 2022. “I’m so thrilled to get to go another round with the team at Hanover Square to tell this story about identity and how we show up for one another across lines of difference,” says Lansky in a statement.
