Tilda Swinton Says She Refuses to Wear a Mask for Next Project, Will Disregard COVID-19 Protocols

The Oscar-winning actress is currently at the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas and opened up about the next project she will do in Ireland. Tilda started her appearance by remarking that she was glad to see the audience go maskless and that she was happy to see the pandemic reach a point where that could happen. Keep reading to find out more… Variety reports that Tilda later said, “I’m about to shoot a picture in Ireland, and I was told to wear a mask at all times, and I’m not.” Tilda noted that she was “sure this is being recorded” and told everyone that she is “very healthy” after contracting COVID-19 multiple times already.
Last year, Tilda talked to W Magazine about her COVID-19 battle from August 2021 and how she wasn’t able to get out of bed for three weeks. “I was coughing like an old gentleman who smoked a pipe for 70 years, and had nasty vertigo,” she said. “I got off relatively lightly, but the worst thing is how it affected my brain.” Months later, Tilda said she was still struggling with memory issues.
