The final defendant has taken to the stand in the trial of a TikTok influencer accused of killing her mother's young lover.Mahek Bukhari, who made her name on the social media platform, and seven others, have denied killing Saqib Hussain and his friend Hashim Ijazuddin, both 21.The men were rammed off the A46 in Leicestershire on February 11, 2022, with prosecutors alleging it was to keep Ansreen Bukhari and Mr Hussain's affair secret.Mohammed Patel 21, is the eighth and final defendant to give evidence at Leicester Crown Court after he was charged with the murders of Saqib Hussain and Hashim Ijazuddin.
Patel denies the charge.Giving evidence on Monday, Patel confirmed he went to co-accused Rekan Karwan's home, after being told there was "a situation".
Once there, he put a wheel brace down his trousers. The prosecution have argued this was to intimidate or harm the deceased.
Patel gave no explanation for carrying the item, reports Leicestershire Live. Leonard Smith questioned why Patel did not refuse to place the wheel brace in his trousers.
