Joseph Allen Maldonado-Passage (born March 5, 1963), better known by his stage name Joe Exotic, is an American former zoo operator, internet personality, musician, and convicted felon. The former owner and operator of the Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park (a.k.a. G. W. Zoo) in Wynnewood, Oklahoma, Maldonado-Passage had claimed to be the most prolific breeder of tigers in the United States. He twice unsuccessfully ran for public office, first for President of the United States in 2016 as an independent, and then for Governor of Oklahoma in 2018 as a Libertarian.

Tiger King 's Jeff Lowe has been ordered to surrender his cubs and their mothers after the deaths of some big cats in his care.

The zoo boss, who took over the zoo run by jailed Joe Exotic in Netflix hit Tiger King, was ordered to hand over the big cats in an animal welfare case.

It follows the deaths of two young tigers in his care. Lowe and his wife Lauren were also told they must not put animals on public exhibit without a license in a federal court ruling in Oklahoma last week.
