A thug who stabbed his girlfriend while she lay half asleep in bed after they had argued about a Snoop Dogg song has had his 'unduly lenient' prison sentence almost doubled.
After launching the 'appalling' attack on the mum in her own home, 40-year-old Stephen Turnock shaved some of her hair off, threw an iron and an Xbox at her and sprayed deodorant in her mouth.
He had also repeatedly hit her in the face. She was able to escape, wearing only her dressing gown and covered in blood, having suffered two black eyes and a broken nose.
