A man who 'ransacked' a couple's home after bursting through the window with a crowbar as they watched TV has been jailed. Cameron Breslin, 29, from Leigh, along with two accomplices, smashed the patio window of the property in a terrifying break in on February 8 this year.
The victims, both aged in their 60s, were watching television at their home in the Pennylands area at around midnight when Breslin and two other men used crowbars and a baseball bat to gain entry. An investigation by the South Burglary Team led to Cameron Breslin being arrested at his home in Leigh around six weeks later, on March 26.
Breslin, 29, of Mirian Grove, Leigh, appeared at Burnley Crown Court on Tuesday (July 30) after pleading guilty to aggravated burglary at a dwelling.
