A 'kind and loving' uncle was left with a severe brain injury after a thug deliberately and repeatedly ran him over with his BMW.
Shaun Duckworth twice knocked Paul Higham to the ground, then made to drive over him a third time as he lay unconscious in the street.
But the 35-year-old swerved away when a woman in a dressing gown intervened as she rushed to the aid of the stricken man. His attacker was handed a lengthy spell behind bars yesterday, September 25.
Mr Higham has spent more than six months in hospital since the incident and has been 'robbed of his life' and will 'never be the same again', having suffered a life-changing brain injury during the shocking assault.
