A woman is in hospital after being knocked down by her own car as she shouted for help in a horrific robbery in Bolton. The victim, aged in her 60s, ran outside to call for help after she found a stranger in her home in Church Street in Horwich, police said.

She was then hit by own car - a black Volkswagen T-Roc - as the male suspect stole it. Her handbag was also stolen in the incident.
