A Bolton man has been charged with a string of offences after a woman was knocked down by her own car and left seriously injured.
Police were called to a 'fail-to-stop' collision between a car and a woman in her 60s in Church Street, Horwich, on February 27.
Gary Foulkes, 40, of Ashness Place, Breightmet, has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent, two counts of burglary, theft of motor vehicle and possession of a bladed article. The woman is still recovering from her injuries in hospital but is due to be released soon. A Greater Manchester Police (GMP) spokesman said: "A 41-year-old man has appeared in court after a woman was injured by her own car following a burglary in Bolton.
